In this step, you create the correspondence address under a correspondence key. You must determine a correspondence key for each correspondence address.

Requirements

You must already have determined the address type with the feature "PFAE2".

Note

In the view "Addresses" to be maintained, the address type refers to the type, the correspondence key to the address and the complete address to the address text.

Standard settings

The text identification has a fixed meaning:

  • A - Company name
  • B - Department
  • C - Form of address (is validated in the infotype)
  • D - Title (is validated in the infotype)
  • E - First name(s)
  • F - Last name
  • G - Street
  • H - Country (is validated in the infotype)
  • I - Postal code
  • J - City
  • K - Telephone number

Recommendation

Only create the correspondence address in the view "Addresses" if this address occurs repeatedly. If the address only occurs once, it is easier to enter it directly in the infotype Administration.

Activities

  1. Determine the address type you defined in the feature "PFAE2".
  2. Determine the correspondence key.
  3. Enter the required specifications for the address type and the correspondence key. Pay attention to correct assignment to text identification.
