If you subsequently insert the new addition's functionality for employees who already exist in infotype Wage Maintenance, then you must subsequently maintain the field view indicator in the infotype Payroll Status for all of these employees.
Furthermore, a corresponding additional infotype record must be created for each record that exists in infotype Wage Maintenance.
This is done by report RPUPAV00. The report uses feature IVWID to fill out the view indicator in the infotype Payroll Status and subsequently creates the records which belong to the primary infotype of the additional or secondary infotype respectively. The new fields are filled out later. The last valid record is delimited using the date you have specified, and copied with the same date as a begin date.
The report must be started individually in each client.
Warning:
If you activate several views for the infotypes (Organizational Assignment, Cost Distribution, Basic Pay), then you should only start this report once. The corresponding secondary infotypes are then created for all the active views.
Example
An employee already has two records for infotype Wage Maintenance; the new functionality should be used as of the 1st of January 1997:
