If you implement the new functionality of the additions to the Basic Pay (0008) infotype for existing employees at a later stage, you must then also maintain the View indicator (0003) field in the Payroll Status for all these employees.
There must be a corresponding additional infotype record for each existing Basic Pay (0008) record.
These tasks are carried out by the report RPUPAV00 (regeneration of additional infotypes for views). The report uses the feature IVWID (infotype view indicator) to fill the view indicator in the Payroll Status (0003) infotype, and then generates the additional or secondary infotype records that belong to the primary infotype. The new fields are filled later. In each case, the last valid record is delimited according to the date you have specified, and copied using the same date as the 'from' date.
The report must be started individually in each client.
Caution:
If you activate several views for infotypes (Organizational Assignment, Cost Distribution, Wage Maintenance), then you must start the report once only. The corresponding secondary infotypes are then created for all active views.
Example
An employee already has two Basic Pay records, and you want to use the new functionality as of January 1, 1997:

The feature for activating view indicators must be maintained.
The Basic Pay view must be activated in your system.
