To use the enhancement of basic pay for the public sector, the 'Assignment of Views to Infotypes' must be maintained. Here you decide which views are used for which infotypes. The view indicator OE (see also Assign View Indicator) is necessary for the basic pay with infotype 0008 and the view V008.
The separate screen for the public sector is then used for the employee subgroup that has this view indicator.
