In this step, you maintain the wage types for payroll accounting in accordance with the Public Sector Pension Act. You have an overview of the most important wage type characteristics that are specific to payroll accounting for pension recipients.

This maintenance interface is particularly suitable for checking data after the payroll system has been set up.

Example

Wage type o002 (Base salary) is proportionally included in the bonus basis and is subject to pension payments. It must be coded in processing class 69 (bonus basis) as well as in processing class 83 (Bases for public sector pensions) with specification 1.

Activities

  1. In the Pension Recipient Overview view, flag a wage type to be changed.
  2. Choose Detail.
  3. Code the processing classes with the correct specifications.
  4. Choose Save.
  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for all wage types you use.

Further notes

You maintain additional wage type characteristics that do not refer to payroll for public sectoer employees in the corresponding step in the Implementation Guide (IMG).
