To process a pension as defined in §55 BeammtVG (Public Sector Pensions Act), enter the pension amount in the Imputation to Pension Payments infotype (0326) with subtype 1. The pension is suspended up to the amount by which the pension payment plus the adjusted pension plus a child allowance supplement exceeds the maximum threshold.

In this step, you assign all wage types relevant to the suspension rule to a wage type group, and code the wage types in processing class 84 (Public Sector Pensions: Imputations). You must define rules for increased insurance that specify how the increased insurance is taken into account in the imputations for §55 BeamtVG.

Activities

  1. Choose Assign Wage Types to Wage Type Groups.

    Enter the country grouping 01.

    You access the view for wage type 5V03 (pension payments PSG).

  2. Enter the missing wage types.
  3. Choose Save.
  4. Choose Back.
  5. Choose Check Wage Types for Suspension Rule §55.

    Enter the country grouping 01.

    You access the Wage Type Characteristics table.

  6. In the detail view of the table, code all wage types that are part of the pension and should be included in the suspension rule (for example, pension payment, child allowance supplement) with specification 1 in processing class 84.
  7. Choose Save.
  8. Choose Back.
  9. Choose Maintain Rules for Increased Insurance.

    You access the PS Pensions Control Indicator 08 view.

  10. Define the input values for the Rule for Increased Insurance field. Assign an internal key to the input values. You can use the following internal keys:

    01:

More than 50% of the increased insurance has been paid by the employer. The bonus and voluntary contributions are subtracted from the increased insurance amount before the adjustment, then added again afterwards.

02:

Less than 50% of the increased insurance has been paid by the employer. The bonus and voluntary contributions are subtracted from the increased insurance amount before the adjustment.

03:

The increased insurance amount entered is not taken into account.

  1. Choose Save.
  2. Choose Back.

Choose Check Subschema.

You access the maintenance interface for schema DORA.

  1. Check that the payroll function P0326 is included in parameter 1 in subschema DORA with specification 1.
