In this step, you modify the valuation rules used in standard average calculations to determine the premium.
The valuation rules are specified in the wage type model for the respective collective agreement. In some collective agreements they are used to calculate the leave and sick pay premium if a premium rate must be calculated in the current year (employee joins the company).
You do not usually need to make any changes.
You only need to copy and modify the valuation rules used in the original model when copying a wage type model in the section Define Wage Types to be Used.
Standard settings
The standard average calculation is used in payroll for the BMT-G, MTArb, and AVR Caritas collective agreements. All required settings are already available in the system.
The following valuation rules are used for these collective agreements:
Collective agreement Valuation rules
BMT-G 32 and 31
MTArb 07 and 08
AVR Caritas 23
Standard calculation of averages is not used for the collective agreement BAT.
