In this step, you specify which of your customer wage types will be included in the formation of the bases for the calculation of the leave and sick pay premium.
This step is only included in this section for reasons of completeness. This step is normally included in the section Create Bases for Average Calculation.
Standard settings
If you have based your customer wage types on the model wage types used in the Public Sector (Oxxx), the coding of the wage types should correspond to your pay scale conditions.
We recommend that you check the coding for your wage types.
Example
For collective agreement BAT, wage type /221 is used to cumulate the relevant time bonuses.
All irregular payments that are relevant for the collective agreement (for example, overtime hours, public holiday bonuses) are flagged so that the amount field is cumulated in the average calculation base /221.
Activities
- Enter Germany.
You access the selection screen Change Averages.
- Select your customer wage type and choose Detail.
- Check that your wage type has been cumulated in the average calculation base relevant for your collective agreement.
Further notes
The section SAP Standard Wage Types and Payroll Constants, gives you an overview of the wage types used in the different collective agreements.
The Use of Wage Types in Payroll Accounting report (RPDLGA20) gives you an overview of all wage types that are cumulated in particular average calculation bases (for example, wage type /221 Time Bonuses BAT).
