When you calculate the leave and sick pay premium, you are able to enter a manual premium using the Recurring Payments and Deductions (0014) or One-Off Payments (0015) infotypes. This rate then overrides the rate that is calculated automatically by the R/3 System.

In this step, you create the wage types that you want to use to determine this premium rate for the different collective agreements.

Standard settings

The standard system contains model wage types to determine a manual premium rate for the collective agreements BAT, BMT-G, MTArb, and AVR Caritas.

Activities

  1. Choose Create Default Wage Types for Leave/Sick Pay Premium.
    1. Choose Copy.
    2. Enter Germany.
      3. You access the maintenance screen of the wage type copier.
    3. In the CWType field, assign your own identifier to the wage types that you want to copy.
      4. Note that your identifier must start with a number, otherwise, the original wage types supplied by SAP will be overwritten.
    4. Enter a short and long text for the wage type.
    5. Flag the required wage types and choose Copy.
  2. Choose Input of default wage types in wage type model.
    1. In the Wage type field, enter your new wage types for the wage type model.
    2. Choose Save.
