In this section, you check wage type group 5T09 (Irregular Payments) for completeness. You should normally have copied the wage types for deferred payments in a previous step. If you have done this, the wage types are already in wage type group 5T09.

However, if your customizing wage types are incomplete in comparison to the original standard wage types, you can copy the missing wage types here.

Recommendation

When your Customizing activities are complete, check that wage type group 5T09 contains all the wage types that you required for deferred payments.

Activities

  1. Choose Copy.
  2. Enter Germany.

The maintenance interface of the wage type copier appears.

  3. In field CWType, assign an appropriate customizing wage type to each original wage type (OWType) that you want to copy.
Use the customer namespace in field CWType. If the original wage type starts with a letter, your customizing wage type must start with a number. For more information, see Wage Type Concept.

When you confirm your entry in field CWType using Enter, the system copies over the long text and short text from the original wage type.

  4. Adjust the long and short texts for the customizing wage types to suit your requirements.
  5. Select all the wage types that you want to copy.
  6. Before a live run, check that the Test run indicator is deactivated.
You can start a test run to check your settings without actually creating new wage types.
  7. Choose Copy.
The system displays an overview of the wage types that have been copied and the changes to the tables affected. You can then determine whether you have to maintain table entries manually and whether errors have occurred.
