In this IMG activity, you activate the differentiated period calculation for your employees. To do this, in the feature ODMOD, you assign an organizational key to function 06 (period calculation) as a return value of the feature. In the view V_T5D87_S (assign function models on selection of the function) you then assign a function model for period calculation to this organizational key.
If you only use the function model 01, you adopt the settings provided in the standard system. In most cases, you can use the function model 01.
If the period determination depends on the organizational assignment of the respective employee and different periods are relevant, you also have to use different function models. In this case, you first create the additional function models for the relevant pay scales. You do this in the preceding process step Maintain Fixed Periods . In the feature ODMOD, you then carry out a differentiation in accordance with the organizational assignments and you assign an organizational key to each organizational assignment. In the second step, you can then assign a function model to each organizational key.
