In this step, you assign specific insurance types to absences in the Absences: Public Sector - Germany table. Make sure that you only have to make the assignment for unpaid absences using insurance types 20 to 29.
Example
The maternity protection absence type is always assigned insurance type 21 (Compulsory insurance without remuneration liable to supplementary pension insurance due to maternity protection).
Standard settings
In the standard system, most absences already have the appropriate insurance type assigned to them.
Activities
Check the SAP standard entries in the aforementioned table, and make the necessary changes.
Further notes
To ensure that the military service absence type is evaluated correctly for supplementary pension insurance, in the table Absences: Public Sector - Germany under absence type Reserve duty training exercise, you must enter the value E in the field SB as the absence indicator for SPF.
