In this step, you modify payroll calculation schemas D100 and D1BL to reflect your system settings for payroll accounting. To do this, you modify function DOZV parameters in the respective schema. The DOZV function can include any of the following parameters:
UMLB Calculation of normal and additional contribution
STBE Flat-rate taxation of contribution up to monthly/annual threshold
STDS Tax contributions according to principle of averages
ERHB Calculation of increase amount
SOEZ Special processing of one-off payments
KUML Cumulation of SPF-relevant wage types
Standard settings
In the standard system, function DOZV in schemas D1KA and D1BL has the following parameters: SOEZ, UMLB, STBE, ERHB.
Activities
To adjust the payroll calculation schema to your settings for supplementary pension insurance, you must make two important modifications to either schema D1KA or schema D1BL:
- If you wish to tax contributions according to the principle of averages, you call the DOZV function with parameter STDS. You do this in the relevant schema after calculating the contribution (DOZV UMLB) and before the actual calculation of the tax (DOZV STBE).
- If you require a different cumulation for particular supplementary pension funds, you must first set up feature DZV03 (see step Override Cumulation of Wage Types and call function DOZV with parameter KUML before calling the special processing for one-off payment (DOZV SOEZ).
