In this step, you set up the new wage types for the interim bonus (IB) for your own wage type area. This affects the following wage types:
- Interim bonus (o032)
- Assessment basis for the IB (o033)
- Transfer of old IT (o034)
We recommend that you copy the standard wage types in the system to your own wage type area so that these are also shown in the payroll run. Note that the following wage types are intended for use when transferring the interim bonuses after July 01, 1997, for example, when transferring legacy data or subsequent entries:
- Assessment basis for IB (o033) and
- Transfer of old IB (o034)
In contrast to these two wage types, the Interim bonus wage type is valuated indirectly and is calculated automatically by the system. If you make manual entries in the Interim bonus wage type, the indirect valuation will be deactivated.
Activities
To transfer the interim bonus and the accompanying elements to your wage type area, proceed as follows:
- Choose Copy
- Enter the country grouping 01 for Germany.
You access the Copy Wage Types table.
- If the wage types for the interim bonus are not displayed in the table, enter the following code in the OWType column:
- O032
- O033
- O034
To display the accompanying text, choose Confirmation each time.
- In the CWType column, assign your own identifier to the three default wage types.
Note that your own identifiers must start with a number otherwise the original wage types provided by SAP will be overwritten.
- Enter the long text and short text for the wage types.
- Select the three wage types.
- Choose Copy.
Further notes
To delete specific wage types from your wage type area, choose Delete. To check whether you have entered wage types that are not listed in the wage type table, choose Completeness check.
