In this step you define how the employer's contribution towards capital formation savings is to be calculated.

In the standard R/3 system, the employer's contribution is calculated using function DVB in schema DWB0. There are no conditions as to the calculation of the employer's contribution, i.e. the set employer's contribution is generally calculated for the employee. If you want to use this procedure in your company, you do not need to carry out any further activities here.

Activities

If you make payments for capital formation savings according to the collective agreement, you must carry out the following steps:

  1. Enter a * in column D of line
    DVB AG. This deactivates calculation of the employer's contribution without conditions.
  2. Delete the * in column D of line
    DVB DOV1 GEN NOAB AG. This activates calculation using rule DOV1.
