Use
You use this IMG activity to maintain the ring-fencings of your supplementary pension institutes that are relevant to your scenario.
There are different ring-fencings within a supplementary pension institute (SPI); for example, the VBL has ring-fencings west and east and the supplementary pension fund (SPF) of the KVBW has ring-fencings I and II. They differ primarily in their means of financing (assessment or capital cover procedure) and thus also in their percentages for assessment and contributions. However, it is also possible for you to receive the year-end settlement at different times or to have different bank accounts for the money for each ring-fencing. You use this IMG activity to maintain all these variables.
If, for example, you are in ring-fencing west of the VBL only, you only need one entry in the percentages/contract models for the supplementary pension institute and ring-fencing.
Standard settings
The ring-fencings are to be maintained from 2002 or from the SAP production startup at the latest.
Activities
To maintain ring-fencings, proceed as follows:
- Select an investment institute in the Set Up Supplementary Pension Institute table.
- Double-click Define Ring-Fencing in the dialog structure to call the corresponding input screen.
- Maintain the input fields in accordance with your requirements.
- Choose Save.
