Use

You can use this IMG activity to define additional notification types.

A notification type describes the time point when a notification-relevant event was generated in more detail.

Standard settings

There are the following types in the SAP standard system:

  • New notification
    A new notification indicates that this notification-relevant event has not yet been sent to the SPI.
  • Correction notification
    A correction notification is required if it is determined that the content of a notification-relevant event that has already been sent to the SPI is incorrect.
  • Cancellation notification
    A cancellation notification indicates that a notification-relevant event that has already been sent to the SPI should not actually have been sent.

At present, no other notification types are known.

Activities

Proceed as follows to define addition notification types:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter the new notification type and its name into the table.
  3. Choose Save.
