Use

In this IMG activity you define the repayment default wage types for the gross overpayment.
In the standard system, the following model wage types are availalbe for this:

  • OBT0 - BUEZ - Repayment Installment
This wage type automatically repays first the claims from child allowance, then gross overpayments, and then SR increases.
You can use the following wage types to specifically repay individual components.
  • OBTA - BÜZ - Repayment Installment SR
  • OBTB - BÜZ - Repayment Installment Gross
  • OBTK - BÜZ - Repayment Installment Child Allowance
  • OBN0 - BÜZ - BUEZ - Waiver
The short-term waiver of a gross payment initially behaves in the same way as a repayment (for example, repayment wage type OBT0), however, in contrast to this, it contains an additional wage type that acts as a gross wage type (model wage type in this case is wage type OBB0 - BUEZ Compensation f. Waiver) as the first derived wage type, in order to clear the gross deduction caused by the repayment.

If you want to set up your own wage types, you can copy these from the model wage types. In addition, you must also encode the repayment default wage tyypes by assigning them to the relevant overpayment type.

Activities

  • Copy the repayment default wage types
To create your own wage types, copy the model wage types supplied by SAP to your own wage type space.

  1. Choose Copy in the Wage Type Maintenance dialog window.

The Copy wage types screen appears.

    • The Test run function is active. You should carry out a test run first.
    • To make the wage type copier productive, you must first deactivate the Test run function.
  2. Check whether you want to add further wage types to the proposed wage types, and if necessary, enter further sample wage types in the OWType (original wage type) field.
  3. Enter the user wage types that you want to create by copying the model wage types. To do this, you have the following options:

    Manual assignment

For each model wage type, enter a name for your new wage type in the CWType (Customizing wage type) field, and choose Continue.

    Automatic assignment

    1. Select the wage types that you want to copy, and choose the CWType button (automatic assignment of Customizing wage types).
    2. You will now branch to the Wage type maintenance dialog window.
    3. Enter the data you require, and choose Continue.
  4. If necessary, adapt the long and short texts of the copy wage types to suit your requirements.
  5. Select the wage types you want to copy, and choose Copy.

In the subsequent list, all of the copied wage types are displayed. The list contains details of all the changes made in the relevant tables.

  • Encoding repayment default wage types
Assign the relevant classification indicator for repayment installments of overpayments to the repayment default wage types.
