The child allowance amount is set based on the data recorded in infotype 0118, Child Allowance, in the Child Allowance Amount infotype (0119).
If you call up infotype 0119 with the 'Create' function, the system automatically proposes the first period for which the child allowance amount is set incorrectly.
You can use feature KG119 to control this proposal function. The system only checks and proposes periods that lie before the key date set by the feature.
Please note that the key date must be entered as a 'technical date', i.e. YYYYMMDD.
Example
You want to activate the proposal function for the period after July 1st, 1997.
To do this, maintain feature KG119 as follows:

Standard settings
The key date in the standard system is January 1st, 1996.
Activities
- Change feature KG119 if you want to adjust the key date.
- Select Check.
- Select Save.
- Select Generate.
Further notes
If you want to deactivate the proposal function, enter a date far into the future in feature KG119 (e.g. December 31st, 9999).
