Pay Scale Reclassification (Automatic Progression)
The report scans the selected dataset for features that cause a pay scale reclassification (progression) for an employee during the selection period. This is an enhancement of report RPITUOD1 and, in particular, considers data from the Previous Employment Periods infotype (0363).
The calculation of the time accumulated up to now is calculated from the length of service in company for the current combination of case group catalog/pay scale group/case group. Alternatively, it can be overriden by using a Start of progression time date type in the Date Specifications infotype (0041).
In addition, previous employment periods that are stored with subtype = 1 in the Previous Employment Period infotype (0363) are taken into account.
Integration with table T5D5F (Case Groups)
The progression period is compared with the fields T5D5F-ZUGMN (Minimum length of service in company), T5D5F-ZUGEX (Exact length of service in company), and T5D5F-ZUGMX (Maximum length of service in company). If the progression period is between the minimum and maximum length of service in the company, a message is displayed, suggesting that automatic progression should take place.
If the progression period is greater than the maximum length of service in the company, an error message is displayed.
If no minimum length of service is specified, the exact length of service in the company is taken as though the minimum is equal to the maximum length of service in the company.
In the standard system, the Minimum/exact/maximum service years fields are not evaluated.
Further notes
The evaluation takes place in ascending order according to personnel number.
