The wage type for entering a gross amount is used during the calculation of the maternity pay supplement to influence the basis calculation in the three months prior to the maternity protection period.

The specified amount completely replaces the wage types included in the payroll run with the basic pay when the fictitious amount is calculated.

You must enter the default wage type during the maternity protection period using the Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014) or Additional Payments/Deductions (0015) infotypes. If you enter wage type in the period prior to the maternity protection period, this will not affect the supplement calculation.

Standard settings

In the standard SAP system, the model wage type OZMB is used as the default wage type for gross remuneration.

Activities

  1. Choose Copy wage types.

    When you enter country grouping 01, you access the maintenance inteface for the wage type copier.

  2. In the OWtype field, enter the SAP model wage type to be copied (OZMB) and in the CWType field, enter the name of your customer wage type.
  3. Choose Continue.
