In this step you assign the calculation model defined earlier to to organizational subareas in which the calculation model is to be used.
The calculation model is assigned for specific periods.
The payroll program then uses the employee's organizational assignment and start date of the maternity protection period to determine which calculation rule is used.
Time delimitation enables you to change the model at a particular point in time and you need not change the periods already accounted at a later date.
Activities
To define your organizational subareas and assignment to the calculation model, proceed as follows:
- Choose Adjust Feature ODMOD.
- The maintenance interface for feature ODMOD is displayed.
- Adjust feature ODMOD to suit your company requirements and organizational structure.
Note that the feature is also used to calculate special bonuses and vacation allowances, as well as supplements to maternity allowance.
- Choose Save.
- Choose Back.
- Choose Assign Org. Subarea to Calculation Model.
The maintenance interface for the Assign function model with selection of function table is displayed.
- Assign the calculation model to be used to the return value for feature ODMOD in the Model field of the assignment table.
With the 'Maternity Pay Supplement' function, the function key '04' is generally used.
- Choose Save.
Further notes
Note that a return value in feature ODMOD and an assignment to a calculation model must exist for all personnel areas otherwise payroll accounting will terminate.
