In this section you set up the adjustment amount for cost-of-living allowance (0031) for your wage type area. This wage type is only for salaried employees in the public sector.

Recommendation

We recommend that you copy the original wage type proposed by the system to your own wage type area so that it can be used in payroll if required.

Activities

  1. To copy the adjustment amount for cost-of-living allowance wage type to your wage type area, proceed as follows:
  2. Choose Copy
  3. Enter the country grouping 01 for Germany.

    You access the Copy Wage Types table.

  4. If the wage type adjustment amount for cost-of-living allowance is not displayed,
    1. Enter the code O031 in the OWType column and
    2. choose Continue.
  5. In the CWType column, assign your own identifier to the default wage type O031.

    Note that your own identifiers must start with a number otherwise the original wage types provided by SAP will be overwritten.

  6. Enter the long text and short text for the wage types.
  7. Select the wage type.
  8. Choose Copy.

Further notes

The wage types that are included in the calculation of the adjustment amount are taken from view V_T539J (Base Wage Type Valuation). In this view, you can also enter additional wage types in the DOZUL module if they are relevant for the calculation of the adjustment amount.
