An allowance must be paid on the basis of the difference between the gross amount without reduced working hours and the total gross amount with reduced working hours and reduced hours compensation.
Example
Your employees must receive the difference between 80% of their gross earnings without reduced working hours and the total of their actual gross earnings and reduced hours compensation as a reduced hours allowance.
The employees must receive this allowance as a net amount.
Gross without reduced hours: DM 4000
Gross with reduced hours: DM 2000
Reduced hours compensation: DM 1000
Allowance as guaranteed net amount: DM 200
Requirements
Standard settings
The gross payments without reduced hours are collected prior to monthly factoring.
In the same way, the amounts with reduced hours are collected after monthly factoring.
The allowance is then calculated and indicated in wage type /644.
Recommendation
Activities
- To set up the allowance procedure, you must activate subschemas:
- Subschema DKO0 in schema DKU0.
- Subschema DKP0 in schema DAL0.
- You must also include your gross wage types in personnel calculation rules:
- The comparison gross amount is calculated in DKS0: Variable
- The gross amount with reduced hours is calculated in DKU0: Variable
- Finally, the employees require the appropriate allowance variant in the reduced hours infotype.
You can assign it to the employees in the step Define employees affected.
Further notes
- When this model allowance variant is used, it is possible for employees to receive more money than without reduced hours.
- You can indicate the allowance in your own wage type.
The allowance is calculated in schema DKP0 by calculation rule DKV0 and then indicated in wage type /644:
A copy of the rule enables you to indicate the allowance in a different wage type.
Make sure you use the variables , and just like in the model rule.
