For reduced hours or seasonal reduced hours, wage types are required to enter the lost hours directly. In this Customizing activity, you create these wage types.

Standard settings

In the standard SAP system, the following model wage types are used:

  • MK8* : Direct entry of hours lost for reduced hours
  • MK9* : Direct entry of hours for seasonal reduced hours

Activities

  1. Define wage types for reduced hours and seasonal reduced hours.
  2. Copy the standard model wage type to your own wage types.

Further notes

  • If you use the seasonal reduced hours component, you need to enter the lost hours directly.
  • Unlike for reduced hours, the lost hours cannot be generated using an alternative shift plan or using substitutions.
