Reduced hours compensation is generally paid for each lost working hour which belongs to the employee's regular working hours and for which the employee is not entitled to payment due to reduced working hours.
The times for which work remuneration is to be paid include
overtime hours.
Prior to 01.01.1998, these were directly deducted from the lost hours.
In this step, you must therefore mark the overtime wage types with 5 in processing class 3.
Example
Regular customary working hours 176 hrs
Non-productive time due to reduced hours 40 hrs
Overtime worked 10 hrs
The following can be deduced:
Hours with entitlement to work remuneration 146 hrs
Entitlement to reduced hours compensation for 30 hrs
Requirements
You should already have marked the sample wage types.
Standard settings
The overtime wage types that contain basic hours are assigned to the wage type group 'Basic overtime remuneration' in the standard R/3 system.
Activities
Check whether the wage types that contain the hours for basic overtime remuneration are coded with a 5.
