Use

To be able to use the Postal Code Check: Germany function, make the necessary Customizing settings in the following activities.

That way you can use a postal code file from a third-party vendor to

  • Check in infotype 0006 if the postal code is correct in addresses
  • Automatically complete incomplete addresses in infotype 0006, if the postal code file allows for this

The function is restricted to the following fields:

  • Street
  • Postal Code
  • City

Activities:

  • You import the postal reference data to the tables of the regional structure.
    You control the administration of the reference data using the central address administration.
  • You activate the field check for Germany.

Perform the activities in the specified order.
