In this step, you can determine the calculation method for union fees.
Example
- If the contributions are to be calculated percentage, you activate the line
1 = AMT= /550AMT%1 ...
by removing the 1 in column FZ, and the * in column T and inserting these in the line1 = 1 * AMT= /550TABLE 510 .... - If the contributions are to be calculated by means of a multi-level value table, you activate the line
1 = AMT= /550TABLE 510 ...
by removing the 1 in column FZ, and the * in column T and inserting these in the line1 = 1 * AMT= /550AMT%1 .... - The legal net (wage type /550) is used as the basis of contribution calculation.
- If the contribution is determined by means of a percentage calculation, you can specify the percentage within the function AMT. In the standard SAP R/3 System, wage type /550 is multiplied by a percentage of 1% (/550AMT%1).

Ensure that you understand how the union fees are calculated in your enterprise.
Standard settings
In the standard SAP R/3 System, the line for percent calculation is active, and the line for multi-level value table calculation is inactive. The percentage is set as an example value to one percent. Consequently, the union fees are calculated as one percent of the legal net (= wage type /550).
Activities
Maintain personnel calculation rule DGW0 with employee grouping for calculation rules * and wage type ****. Maintain the calculation method by activating the line for percentage calculation and deactivating the line for the multi-level value table, or vice versa. If necessary, maintain a percentage.
Further notes
- If an amount is entered in the infotype 0047 "Memberships", this value is always used as a contribution.
- If no amount is entered in the infotype 0047 "Memberships", the contribution is calculated either by means of a percentage rate or by means of a multi-level value table.
