Requirements
Check whether the specification of paid absences is required by your mutual indemnity societies. You need make no settings if this is not the case.
Standard settings
The standard R/3 system contains a technical wage type for the hours of paid absence. This wage type is included in the wage type list.
Activities
Please find out whether this wage type is supplied and whether you must include further wage types. For this, please check which wage types are available to you for specifying paid absence. You only need to enter the wage type in the WType field and specify whether a wage type is to be added to or deducted from the number of paid hours of absence (field AS); none of the other fields in the line are of relevance to the wage slip.
