The type of specification of paid hours on the wage statements depends on the requirements of the mutual indemnity societies. The following specifications are supported:
- Paid numbers of hours worked (hours done)
- Paid non-working hours (for example, leave)
- Total of 1) and 2), that is, the total paid hours
In order to distinguish points 1) and 2), two wage type lists are to be maintained.
Here you determine which wage types should be used from the payroll results of the program for creating the wage statements in order to receive the paid numbers of hours worked.
The numbers of hours worked according to the work schedule are automatically determined by the program.
Consequently, only wage types which extend or correct the numbers of hours worked according to the work schedule are to be included in order to obtain a value for the hours worked.
Example
Paid overtime hours are not included in the work schedule.
Consequently, overtime wage types are to be included here in the wage type list for specifying the paid numbers of hours worked.
Requirements
Please check if your mutual indemnity societies require these specifications.
You do not need to make settings here if this is not the case.
If the mutual indemnity societies require the specifications, the wage types must be filled with the numbers of hours worked in Payroll in the number field.
Standard settings
In the standard SAP R/3 System, technical wage types which contain Overtime hours and Unpaid absences are set up.
These were included in the wage type list.
Unpaid absences are to be subtracted from the numbers of hours worked according to the work schedule in order to consequently receive the actual Paid numbers of hours worked.
Activities
Please include your wage types in the wage type list, which must be taken into account for the numbers of hours worked resulting from the work schedule, in order to obtain the number of paid hours worked.
Wage types whose numbers of hours worked must be subtracted are to be coded with a '-' in the column 'CC'.
You only need to enter the wage type in the WType field and specify whether a wage type is to be added to or subtracted from the number of hours worked (field AS); none of the other fields in the line are of relevance to the wage slip.
