The contributions to the mutual indemnity societies result from a percentage rate of the gross mutual indemnity amount which is passed on to the mutual indemnity societies along with the wage statement. The mutual indemnity societies output a wage type catalog which lists the pay of the employees to be taken into account (Gross mutual indemnity amount).
In the first part of this section, you defined which wage types are to appear in Payroll as Gross mutual indemnity amounts.
If, during creation of the wage statement, you find that a wage type was missed out or included too often in the past 12 payroll months, it is possible to change this here without having to repeat the payroll run.
Example
You have not allowed your wage type 'Christmas bonus' to be included into the Gross mutual indemnity amount during the past 12 payroll months.
Requirements
Please check that the gross mutual indemnity amount set up in Payroll (technical wage type /160) contains all pay that must be reported to the mutual indemnity society.
Standard settings
The standard system proceeds on the assumption that you have correctly set up the gross mutual indemnity amount. The wage type /160 therefore stands in the wage type list which is used to finally output the gross mutual indemnity amount.
Activities
If you set up your gross mutual indemnity amount correctly, no further activities are to be carried out here.
If, in the past 12 payroll months, you have not allowed a wage type to be included to the gross mutual indemnity amount /160, which should, according to the wage type catalog, belong to this gross amount, please include this wage type in the wage type list.
If, in the past 12 payroll months, you have allowed a wage type to be included in the gross mutual indemnity amount /160, which does not belong to this gross amount according to the wage type catalog, please also include this wage type in the wage type list.
In this case, however, a '-' is to be put in column 'CC' for this wage type.
You only need to enter the wage type in the WType field and specify whether a wage type is to be added to or subtracted from the gross mutual indemnity amount (field AS); none of the other fields in the line are of relevance to the wage slip.
Further notes
If you find that in the course of a year, the gross mutual indemnity amount /160 is not set up from the correct wage types, please do not correct this within the analysis period for the wage statement by redefining the gross mutual indemnity amount /160.
Use the wage type list to be maintained for corrections.
