Within the groups commercial/technical salaried employees and industrial workers, the employees in the remuneration statistics Metal Industry re assigned to Wage or Salary groups. The decision, which Wage or Salary groups an employee belongs to, can be made directly dependent on his pay scale classification. The remuneration statistics for the Metal Industry distinguishes 9 wage groups for the industrial workers and 6 different salary groups for the salaried employees. In this section, you determine which Wage or Salary groups should be assigned to the pay scale classifications.
