In the actions unit, you have maintained the reasons for personnel actions. In this step, you determine the reaction of the DEUEV program to the reasons for personnel actions.

Example

  • You determine the personnel action 05 with the action reason 01 as re-entry into the enterprise. To create a registration in the DEUEV for this employee, you enter 1 (start of employment) for this entry in the DEUEV indicator field.
  • You determine the personnel action 10 with the action reason 09 as leaving due to death. To create a deregistration with reason 9 in the DEUEV for this employee, enter 3 (end of employment due to death) for this entry in the field DEUEV indicator.

Requirements

Decide which reactions are necessary for reasons for personnel actions in the DEUEV.

Standard settings

A number of personnel actions and reasons for personnel actions are delivered with the standard SAP system. The indicators are set correctly for these entries.

Recommendation

Do not use personnel actions or reasons for personnel actions for military service or maternity protection in order to receive an interruption notification in the DEUEV. Use the absences provided for this.

  • Check whether you have created your own personnel actions or reasons for personnel actions or changed existing ones.
  • If a reaction in the DEUEV is necessary following the reason for a personnel action, maintain the DEUEV indicator.
