In the infotype Personal Data (0002) you can enter a title in addition to the name of the employee. If the employee's personnel area participates in the DUEVO, then the title (from table T535) is subjected to an automatic plausibility check.

In accordance with DUEVO the plausibility check involves the following rules:

• Permissible characters are letters, blanks, hyphens and parentheses.
• Only letters are allowed in the first position of the title field.
• No blanks are allowed before and after hyphens.
• At least one letter is essential before a period can be used.
• The same special characters or blanks may not be used in succession.
• At the end of the field it is permissible to use a letter, a period or to close parentheses.

Example

The title "Dipl. Math." is a valid title within the context of the DUEVO. However, the title "Dr(.Ing.)" is invalid.
