To compensate for a loss in earnings, in some cases the vacation pay entitlement is increased by clearing amounts.

This is calculated in the following way:
Clearing = Hourly rate multiplied by lost hours,
at the most a maximum amount in the week and a maximum of 1200 hours in the calendar year.

Requirements

The clearing amounts are calculated using function DBAU BTAG:

  • The idle time wage types for
    • Sickness without continued pay (/BU1)
    • Industrial accident without continued pay (/BU1 or /BU3),
    • Military training (/BU4)
    • Reduced working hours (/670, /672, /674)
    • Winter compensation (/BX1, /BX3, /671, /673, /675)
      must appear in front of the function in the payroll table ZL.
  • The Absences must be coded correctly.

  • URAGW Vacation pay clearing per week
  • URAGB Vacation pay clearing per hour

Further notes

Be sure to use Period Z in the point Valuate Absences by Constants/Averages for wage types creation.
