In the Implementation Guide (IMG) step Group personnel subareas for leave types, you must flag your personnel subareas for leave.

Standard settings

Recommendation

SAP recommends that you use the following sample SAP leave types (B*) for industrial workers in the construction industry who participate in the vacation fund procedure:

  • B1 Standard annual leave, vacation fund (VFund)
  • B2 Additional leave, vacation fund (VFund)
  • B3 Transfer entitlement, standard leave
  • B4 Transfer entitlement, additional leave
  • B5 Remaining entitlement, standard leave previous year and employer
  • B6 Remaining entitlement, additional leave previous year and employer
  • B7 Standard annual leave, final year of traineeship
  • B8 Additional leave, final year of traineeship
  • B9 Unpaid leave

For your other employees, use the following sample SAP leave types:

  • 01 Standard annual leave
  • 02 Additional vacation for challenged persons
  • 08 Winter vacation Additional leave

Activities

At the very least, modify the leave types B* to coincide with the leave types in the standard SAP client.
