The following rule from the collective agreement applies to calculating the interim payment:
If the monthly winter working hours should sink below the agreed winter working hours of 37.5 hours/week the interim payment should not be made for actual hours but for payment hours:
These are calculated when the number of hours not worked is multiplied by the factor obtained from the relationship between the monthly working hours according to the collective agreement (7.5 hours per day) and the monthly working hours agreed on within the company.
This rule is only valid for the 8-month clearing period.
Example
In November only 130 hours are to be worked instead of the 157.5 monthly working hours agreed in the collective agreement (21 x 7.5).
30 of the 130 planned working hours are not worked due to bad weather. The interim payment is calculated in this case as follows:
- 30 lost hours x 157.5 working hours acc.to collective agreement
/ 130 hours agreed within company
= 36.3 payment hours - The factor 57.5 / 130 = 1.21 is referred to as the working hours divisor.
Standard settings
The monthly working hours are set using the partial period factor (Total working time in working hours).
Activities
To show the values relevant to the collective agreement, maintain the following fields
- Monthly working hours: Working hours per month
- Weekly working hours: Field Daily working hours
Working days per month are shown using the partial period factor Total month (GASOLL)
There are 2 possible methods of determining the working time devisor:
Method 1: use the personnel calculation rule DKX0.
Method 2: use the function DBAU UGDA.
If you choose to use method 2 you should make the following changes in the personnel calculation schema DK80:
Deactivate the line:
ACTIO DKX0 AR Determine working time divisor
Activate the line:
DBAU UGDA DBAU UGDA: Working time using 0192
If method 1 is used the calculation of the Working time takes place in the personnel calculation rule DKX0.
If method 2 is used it takes place using the function DBAU UGDA: This evaluates the working time agreed in the collective agreement in the infotype Construction Industry Assignment for the given period if a flexible working time model has been entered.
Further notes
- Please note the following special feature when using both methods:
- The monthly working hours according to the collective agreement are calculated for hourly paid industrial workers by multiplying the daily working hours and workdays.
- The monthly working hours according to the collective agreement are used for monthly wage earners and salaried employees.
- The interim payment for payment hours is calculated in personnel calculation schema DKB0 using function PZL in rule DKA0.
- Interim payment for payment hours is stored in wage type /64F.
- Lost hours are stored in wage type /647.
- The working hours divisor is stored in wage type /64D and variable &SWDA.
- You must enter the lost hours and payment hours for the interim payment in the C.Pay: Previous ER infotype.
