In this step you assign a specification from the CONST employee subgroup grouping to the available employee subgroups. Different employee subgroups can be grouped together if they are subject to the same (pay scale) rules.
Recommendation
We recommend that you create a separate employee subgroup for foremen. The procedure is described in the Maintain employee subgroup step.
Standard settings
Six different construction industry groupings are assigned to the standard employee subgroups:
- Salaried employees - commercial
- Trainee - commercial
- Foreman
- Employee - industrial
- Trainee - industrial
- Executive employee
Requirements
You have set up your own employee subgroup or you want to use the standard employee subgroups.
Activities
Check the assignment of the groupings. If necessary assign the CONST grouping to the employee subgroups just created.
