Further notes
Note regarding transfer of leave for hourly wage earners if there is a mid-year system start
The leave entitlement in days is calculated in payroll using the employment days, wage type /BUT, and the result is set in the appropriate quota type in Absence Quotas infotype (2006). That means that each month, the leave entitlement from the cumulated employment days is recalculated and set in infotype 2006.
In the case of a mid-year system start, note that leave taken before the system switch appears as deducted in infotype 2006. It is not sufficient to merely transfer the wage types for the leave already taken.
Example:
System switch on July 1
Employment days until June 30: 180 days
Leave entitlement until June 30: 15 days
Leave already taken in current year until June 30: 5 days
In payroll, wage types including the following are transferred:
/BUT with 180 days
/BUG with 5 days
It is important that the deduction of the 5 leave days already taken can also be seen in infotype 2006 for the current year's leave at the time of the system switch! This can be achieved by transferring the corresponding absences, for example. When the system is started, you must therefore explicitly check that infotype 2006 also reflects the leave account in payroll.
