This step provides additional technical information on the function used to reimburse expenses in Payroll.
Expenses are calculated using function DBAU EVA in personnel calculation schema DT0B.
The function uses the employee's personal work schedule to evaluate the time statement table for each day in the payroll period. This table is used to determine whether or not the employee worked on a construction site and is therefore entitled to expenses.
- Accounting of meals advances and separation allowances takes place using internal table ETA.
- Accounting of weekend trips home takes place using internal table EWA.
- If the indicator Reimburse travel costs is set in the Construction Pay: Expenses infotype, the system calculates tax exemption of transportation costs using internal table EFK.
The tax-free transportation costs are listed in wage type /441, used for income tax statements, using rule DBA0.
