In this step, you set up the weekend trips home refunded by your company.
After four weeks of continuous employment, employees entitled to separation allowance can, in accordance with the pay scale, claim a weekend trip home.
An employee who has an overnight stay at a construction site and does not receive a separation allowance because he spends the weekend at home outside of the weekend trips home allowed by the pay scale, is entitled to reimbursement of a non-pay scale weekend trip home.
- Define allowed weekend trips home:
Here you must specify how many different weekend trips home are used in your company.
- Describe weekend trips home:
- Specify the wage type for the weekend trip home in Payroll.
This wage type is displayed in the Time statement table and in the results table. - Specify the distance for the limit.
- You can specify the number of weekend trips home in direct relationship to the separation allowance.
- Data on weekend trips home can change from one year to the next.
Example
The weekend trip home is to be limited to the separation allowance amount up to a distance of 250 kilometers.
- From a distance of 250 km, the reimbursement amount recorded in the Construction Pay: Expenses infotype is to be paid.
- Up to a distance of 250 km, the reimbursement amount is to be limited to the appropriate separation allowance rate.

Set up the weekend trips home reimbursed by your company.
Further notes
- The reimbursement amount for the weekend trip home must be specified in the Construction Pay: Expenses infotype. This may be limited to the claim stated in the pay scale.
- Travel costs can also be reimbursed for trips between home and the place of work using the Reimburse travel costs field in the Contruction Pay: Expenses infotype.
