In this step you can set up the control parameters for statements.

The parameters determine the general specifications for the statement, such as the period for which it should be created.

The standard statements supplied with the SAP System are stored within the number range 01-49.

The number range 50-99 is reserved for customers. You can store your own statements within this range.

Standard settings

The control parameters for the SAP standard statements are set up in the SAP name range.

Activities

Define your control parameters for statements in the customer name range. Use the standard entries as a reference and change the form name in the Form pages field to the name of your customer form.

If you set up your own statements, maintain the control parameters according to your requirements.

Further notes

As a supplement to the field documentation, the meaning of the individual fields is also explained here.

The following fields must be maintained during customizing:

  • Statement number
  • Statement text
  • Pages
  • Subsequent statement
  • Number of months
  • Evaluation class
  • Statement type
  • Infotypes that must not be read

Meaning of fields

Statement number

The number of the statement.

Statement text

The title of the statement.

Form pages

The name of the form must be entered at this point.

The standard SAP form name is displayed as a default. Please change it to your chosen customer form name.

Example

We recommend that you change the standard form name BE18 to ZB18 when you create your customer form.

Subsequent statement

In this field, enter the statement number of the form pages used to enhance the statement.

It is mainly used to avoid table redundancy.

This field is not used at present in the standard system.

Number of months

Specify the period for which a statement is issued.

Example: Employment statement §133 AFG is issued for a period of 6 months.

Evaluation class

Evaluation classes 06 to 10 of the wage type valuation table are interpreted by statements functions.

Evaluation classes 06, 07, and 08 are in the SAP range, and 09 and 10 in the customer range.

The number of the evaluation class is specified at this point.

Example

KVU statement: Evaluation class: 08

Please refer to Maintain statement wage types.

Statement type

The statement type indicates which special processing runs must be carried out for this statement.

The field consists of two characters which means that two types of special processing can be carried out for a statement.

The following indicators exist at present:

  • A Indicator for employment statement §133
  • E Indicator for earnings statement in case of a child's illness
  • F Indicator for incorrect contribution
  • K Indicator for KVU statement
  • M Indicator for maternity protection statement
  • W Indicator for housing subsidy statement

The special processing runs triggered by the statement type are listed in the section Special processing runs triggered by statement types.

Infotypes that must not be read

This field contains the infotypes that must not be read when a statement is created.

-infotypes 0000 - 0999

-infotypes 2000 - 2099

If you do not want the payroll results to be determined, please indicate this by entering AB in this field.

Separate each flag with a special character (eg. ,- etc.).
