In this step you copy the standard SAP form from the SAP client (000) to your customer client and then from the customer client to a customer specific form.

We recommend that you copy the standard form to a customer specific form to avoid unintentional changes being made to your form when an upgrade takes place.

Customer-specific forms should start with "Z".

Suggested name of a customer form: "ZBxx".

Example

KVU statement:

SAP form BE18 would be called ZB18 within the customer name range.

If the form name for the customer specific form you want to set up has already been used within the customer client, you should delete the old table entries for this form before you copy the standard form to your customer client using this form name.

ACTIONS

  1. If you have a customer form with the same name as the form to be set up, you should save the old customer form in your customer client using a new form name and then delete old table entries for this customer form.
    1. Choose "Copy form within the customer client".
    2. In the field Form to be copied, enter the key of your old customer form.
    3. In the field New form name for copy, enter a form name with which you want to save your customer specific form.
    4. Use the function Execute.
    5. Choose "Delete form from customer client".
    6. In the field Form to be deleted, enter the key of your customer form.
    7. Use the function Execute.
  2. Delete old table entries for standard form "BExx" from the customer client. To do this, please proceed as follows:
    1. Choose "Delete form from customer client".
    2. In the field Form to be deleted, enter the key of the standard form ("BExx").
    3. Use the function Execute.
  3. Copy the standard form ("BExx") from the SAP client (000) to your customer client. To do this, please proceed as follows:
    1. Choose "Copy form from SAP client to customer client".
    2. In the fields Form to be copied and New form name for copy, enter the key of the standard form ("BExx").
    3. Use the function Execute.
  4. Copy standard form "BExx" within your customer client to a customer specific form. To do this, please proceed as follows:
    1. Choose "Copy form within the customer client".
    2. In the field Form to be copied, enter the key of the standard form ("BExx").
    3. In the field New form name for copy, enter the key of the required customer specific form ("ZBxx").
    4. Use the function Execute.

Further notes

If you have to change customizing settings after a release upgrade, you must first delete the standard form in the customer client and then copy the standard form from the SAP client to your customer client.

This procedure is necessary since it is not possible to overwrite an existing form with another form.

If you have modified the standard form, you can then compare both forms and adjust them accordingly.
