In this work step, you determine which personnel actions and action reasons trigger which processing subtype. To do this, you maintain feature DWCRA (Assign Actions/Reasons to Processing Subtype).
Report RPCWVSD0 (Pension Calculation) interprets the feature and triggers the appropriate processing subtype.
Example
You want the Individual Pension processing type with the Early Pension processing subtype to be triggered by the Retirement/Early Retirement personnel action and the Early Retirement action reason.
To do this, specify the following in feature DWCRA:
- Processing type: Individual Pension
- Action: Retirement/Early Retirement
- Action Reason: Early Retirement
You specify these as the return value for the Early Pension processing subtype.
When you launch the pension calculation (RPCWVSD0) via the Individual Pension processing type, the report recognizes that the Retirement/Early Retirement action has been performed for your employees. The Early Pension processing subtype is triggered.
In this case, when the pension is calculated, the checks you have defined for the Early Retirement subtype are performed.
