Example
The following payment rule is stored for a pension plan:

The following installments are calculated for a pension capital of DEM50,000 calculated on the payment key date of March 01, 1999.

Standard settings
In this step, you control the payment method for a capital payment. You can create installment payments here. You can also postpone a payment for a particular person. Interest can be calculated on both the installments and the postponed capital payment.
Further notes
You can either store the payment rule for an entitlement in Customizing or specify a rule for a particular person in the Entitlements infotype.
