When you set up imputation groups, you must carry out three activities:
1. Define the imputation groups
Assign a name as an identifier for the imputation group. This name can have a maximum of four characters. Then select your new group. To do this, choose the selection button on the left side of the table. To proceed to activity 2 in the set up procedure, choose 'Benefit Types for Imputation Group' in the navigation area.
2.Assign benefit types to imputation group
When a pension is calculated, the system only imputes to the benefit types that are valid for the person at the time of the pension calculation. The relevant benefit type must also be assigned to an imputation group. In this step, you assign benefit types to a group.
By assigning a priority for benefit types, you can determine how they are processed:
The priority determines the sequence in which imputation amount is distributed to the benefit types. The imputation amount is first applied to the benefit type with the highest priority (= lowest number in corresponding table field). If you assign equal priorities, the benefit type is imputed proportionally. The weighting is calculated as the quotient of the benefit type to the benefit types with the same priority.
To proceed to activity 3 in the set up procedure, choose 'Rules for Imputation Group' in the navigation area.
3. Assign rules to calculate imputation amount to group
To maintain a rule for the calculation of the imputation amount, choose 'New entries'. Assign a number for the identification of the rule and define the origin of the imputation amount. Maintain the time validity for your rule.
To maintain the specifications for the rule, choose 'ENTER'. You access an input area in which you can enter the relevant data.
Example
If you choose the 'Entitlement for imputation' origin, you can access the relevant entitlement via a button. You can then code the benefit types that are relevant for the calculation of the imputation amount.
