Example
The following pensionable income exists for an employee:
01.01.1978 - 31.12.1988 DM60,000 per year
01.01.1989 - 31.12.1999 DM80,000 per year
The contributions are calculated from the following income scale:
01.01.1900 to 31.12.1988:
0 to 40,000 1 %
40,000 to 100,000 10 %
01.01.1989 to 31.12.9999:
0 to 60,000 1 %
60,000 to 100,000 10 %
This means the annual contributions are as follows:
01.01.1978 - 31.12.1988 DM2,400 per year
01.01.1989 - 31.12.1999 DM2,600 per year
The total contribution is
11 * 2.400 DM + 11 * DM2,600 = DM55,000
The pension percentage rate is defined in the pension plan as 20%. This means that the annual pension is DM11,000 and the monthly pension is DM916.76.
Requirements
In the views for the basis calculation, specify which income is relevant for the pension.
Standard settings
With the Income calculation method, a pension is calculated from a basic income.
In the first step, a monthly or annual contribution is defined using an income scale. The pension is the calculated on this contribution by multiplying it by a pension calculation percentage.
Further notes
In the standard system, the Income calculation method uses the function module RP_01C_BV_INCOME.
