Example
An employee takes part in a military exercise for two weeks. The employee's standard salary is 6000DM. During the month of the military exercise the employee only receives 3000DM because the military exercise represents an unpaid absence. However, the employee's pension plan states that the pensionable income is not affected by this unpaid absence. In this month, the pensionable income is, therefore, 3000DM plus the 3000DM that the employee would have received if he had not taken part in the military exercise.
Requirements
Unpaid absences may cause fictitious salary elements that are pensionable. In this view, you define the absences for which a fictitious calculation is performed to determine the pensionable income.
Activities
Mark all pension-relevant absences with an absence type for the company pension scheme. Then declare which absence types cause a fictitious calculation in Payroll.
