Example
The Company Pensions Act states that an entitlement is vested if the duration of the entitlement is more than 10 years or if the duration of the entitlement is three years and the person in question has been employed at the company for 12 years. In both of these cases, the minimum age to receive an entitlement is 35 years.
Standard settings
If the processing subtype allows for a vesting check, the entitlement is checked during pension calculation using the statutory vesting rules. This check is performed at the start of the entitlement. It is also possible for you to store different start dates.
In addition to the statutory rules, a company vesting rule can also be stored. If this is the case, both the statutory vesting check and the company vesting check are performed during pension calculation.
Different pension calculation processes are triggered depending on the result of the check.

The vesting check must be activated in the processing subtype for the pension calculation so that the vesting check is performed when the pension is calculated.
You can also perform an online vesting check in the Entitlements infotype.
