Availabilities define whether and in which periods employees can make entries in the salary conversion infotype.

Example

  1. You want the infotype data for a conversion model to only be able to be maintained in the second half of the year. In the first half of the year, the data you only data to be displayed for the ESS user.
    Encode a period in the first half of the year for each year. Assign the availability type "Blocked in Period" for the periods:

  2. You do not want a conversion model to be available for selection for a personnel area.
    Therefore, encode a period from January 1, 1800 to December 31, 9999 and assign the availability type "Not for Selection".

As a first step, you enter an identification for availabilities. Assign a long text that describes the identification in more detail.

As a second step, you define periods for the identification and assign an availability type.

Further notes

In the Define Conversion Models section, availabilities are assigned to a conversion model.
